RussianPostcards.co.uk is a new site, still to be populated by the client, which will showcase and offer for sale a large catalogue of Imperial postcards. The aim of the site was to show fully the quality and condition of the individual cards and so the site allows the visitor look in detail at the front and back of each card, both with a zoom facility and by opening a larger static image. The site conveys something of the glamour associated with this period of Russia's history with a back drop of  Catherine the Great's Winter Palace at St Peterburg (now the Hermitage Museum).
